A few of you are not sure about joining or not, which I understand as there is always a bit of fear when speaking about that kind of activity. Therefore I will clarify a few things about the event:

Of course we will do the Canyoning with a professional guide from the High 5 centre in Lingenau.
I just called them again to ask if there is any jump which you have to do, but as I had already read (information about the Canyon) and what they confirmed: in this canyon, there will always be the possibility to rappel instead of jumping if you are really to scared. Should you really panic, the canyon has also a lot of quick exit possibilities..

If it would rain the event would still be on (as we will anyhow be wet). The only case, for which the event would be cancelled is if there would really be far to much water because of intensive rain the days and nights before. In that case they would propose Canoe or Rafting if they can get an available guide at that time.

First question: what is My Website? Second: what is a Tippi? Third: Size of what? Last: what is a step safe? It is referred to my walking ability?

I AM LOOKING FORWARD!!!
Response from the Club: A Tipi is a big conical indian tent. You can see one on the following: picture (in the background)
'step-safe' refers to your shoes (they should not be slippery on wet rocks and should protect your ankles).

Julie Lorenz (staying home) says:
I just don't want to make a comitment to a "non-yet-existing" trip, but I don't see any reason why no to come. This date should be fine. before would be too short notice, later would be too cold. Might be getting some interested non-member friends if you need people to fill in the trip- See ya' Julie
