ESA/ESOC Climbing Club

Last year some in the climbing club attended a slide show in Mainz given by one of the world's best climbers, Alexander Huber.

In the last years I have attended outdoor slide shows/videos in both the UK and in Germany and Alexander Huber's presentation was by far one of the best I have ever seen.

This year Alexander's brother, Thomas Huber is giving a slide show in Mainz. I am very hopeful that this should be equally as good.

Last year's event was exceptionally popular, so it would be good this year to get there early in order to:
a) get a decent parking space
b) get decent seats
c) drink a few beers before the show ;-)

Please note, the show will be in German. For those learning German you should be aware that the Huber brothers are Bavarian, thus it may be a little harder to understand their accent. However, last year Alexander articulated very clearly and Mhairi, who had only been in Germany for two/three months got most of what he said.

Stefan, Mhairi and I are going to go. If anyone else wants to come along then please let us know so that we can reserve tickets but only if you definitely know you are going to come along (and please no last minute cancellations!).
