Another year has gone by… The time has come to wrap up 2019 and discuss the (almost) endless possibilities for 2020. Therefore, the ESOC Climbing Club Committee sincerely invites you to join us for the 2019 Annual General Meeting on Tuesday, 10 December 2019 at 18:00 at ESOC, Room H.IV.
We decided to follow in last years’ tradition and host it on-site. We will try to keep the meeting brief and efficient. But of course there is the option to go for a drink afterwards at a near-by location.
For offsite people, please read carefully:
- if you have an ESA badge: you should be fine, just come join us in H.IV. If you don’t know where the room is or you are not sure if your badge grants you access to the H-building, meet us at 17:45 at the gate house. We will then go to the room together.
- if you don’t have an ESA badge: please let us know that you are coming before Thursday, 5th December, EOB. We will then register you as visitors. Please arrive at 17:45 with an official picture ID (drivers licences are not accepted) at the gate house. We will come and pick you up collectively.
At the AGM, we will be reviewing club activities and finances in 2019 but also speak about the planning for 2020. If you have topics you would like addressed, please feel free to send an email to any of the committee members beforehand or bring them up at the meeting directly.
We are very proud to say that the ESOC climbing club has grown substantially in numbers compared to last year and we (the ESOC climbing club committee) hope very much that this will be reflected in number of participants at the AGM!
Joining this meeting is your opportunity to show us which activities you liked in 2019 or would like improved for 2020. We are grateful for any type of feedback and open to new ideas.
Be assured that the club values your ideas and depends on your input and initiative!
So in a nutshell: Please join us for the AGM, because climbing matters!
